How it works

1

List your plug

Pin your outdoor Level 2 home charger to the EVsHelp rescue map with your own access notes.

2

Accept the alert

When a nearby motorist runs critically low, a rescue request reaches your dashboard with the vehicle, distance and projected payout.

3

Earn $1.00 per kWh

The driver pulls in for a 15-to-30 minute emergency top-up. You keep 85% of every session — about $17 on a typical 20 kWh rescue.

Why host with EVsHelp?

Complete control

You set your own availability. Drivers can only request a rescue while your driveway is live, and you can decline any request.

Premium payouts

Standard residential electricity costs roughly $0.15/kWh. At the $1.00/kWh emergency rate, your 85% share leaves a wide margin every time you save a driver.

Tracked, rule-bound sessions

Every rescue is logged in-app with the driver’s vehicle, energy delivered and session record, under clear property safety rules both sides agree to.

Automatic payment settlement and platform liability coverage are being finalized. Until they are connected, session amounts are calculated and recorded but no funds move through the app, and hosts and drivers rely on their own insurance.

Property & safety rules

Driver obligations

  • Drivers may enter your property only to park in the designated space and connect to the charger — no roaming, no entering your home.
  • Drivers and passengers remain in the vehicle during the 15–30 minute session unless you explicitly say otherwise.
  • Drivers disconnect and leave immediately when their kWh target is reached or the session time expires.

Host obligations

  • Keep safe, unobstructed and well-lit access to your charger while your status is Available.
  • Maintain your cables and plugs in safe working condition and keep your electrical setup compliant with local codes.
  • End any session instantly with the session controls if something feels unsafe.

Minor cosmetic wear (such as tire tracks on unpaved borders) and personal disputes outside the charging session are resolved between the driver and host. Documented incidents during an active, app-verified session are reviewed by EVsHelp support.
